The ACF’s managing director, Lydie Meheus, was honoured with the Gabrielle Moortgat Award. The Gabrielle Moortgat Foundation is named after the granddaughter of the founder of Belgian brewery company Duvel Moortgat. The foundation annually awards women who make remarkable contributions to society. Lydie Meheus received a 10,000-euro award for her work in the field of cancer research.

The money will fund the development of a new ACF patient website.
