Your donations can work miracles

The Anticancer Fund owes its existence to donations. By donating money now or including the Anticancer Fund in your will, you can have a tangible impact on the war against cancer. 100% of your donation goes directly to our projects. Office and administrative costs are covered by the funds of our founder, Luc Verelst. His philosophy is expressed in this quote of Winston Churchill: "We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give."

Why support us?

This short movie illustrates our role in collaborative cancer research, and how we leverage the individual and organisational drive for change.

Some of our donors explain why they believe in our cancer research and support our projects for a better life for patients.

You mean a lot to us

Donors and philanthropists can change the world by investing in high impact research for better cancer care. In 2021, we received a total of 2.3 million euros from our founder, individual donors, legacies, entrepreneurs, companies and other non-profit initiatives. We are very grateful to our donors, who support our dream of curing cancer.

We are trustworthy

You will only make a donation to a good cause if you believe the organisation will make the world a better place. And if you're sure this organisation manages its funding properly. That's why our annual figures are published by Donorinfo, in full transparancy.

Donorinfo, a public interest foundation, administers the website donorinfo.be, a free information platform for donors, companies and charitable organisations. The website donorinfo.be lists Belgian charitable organisations which help people in need, collect private funding and are financially transparent. In order to remain entirely independent, the Donorinfo foundation covers all its own costs without having recourse to public subsidies, private donations, sponsorship or contributions.
