The two doctors who have been treating me cannot find any agreement about the best treatment option. What should I do?

It is always important that two doctors who treat the same patients communicate with each other. It is important to explain your treating doctors that you are confused and to ask them what the differences are between the treatment options they offer you. Medical treatment is partly a question of trust, so you have to choose a doctor you trust and feel comfortable with. If this is not the case with any of the doctors treating you, a third opinion may also be an option, even though this may not solve the problem of communication.
